Spirit Poles
New Orleans artist John Geldersma's "Spirit Poles" are usually made of aspen, paint and varnish, suggesting an inherently potent, but unarticulated meaning. These were created in 1993 and measure 9 x 3 ft. and 6 x 10 ft.
