Sweet Emma Barrett
New Orleans physician and jazz enthusiast Edmund Souchon made this photograph of Sweet Emma Barrett on Mardi Gras at a New Orleans Jazz Club party in 1960. Her garters were festooned with bells that jingled as she played the piano.
