I Got Love If You Want It

“I Got Love If You Want It” was written and recorded by James H. Moore, aka Slim Harpo. It was released by the Nashville-based label Excello, and produced by famed Crowley, Louisiana producer J.D. “Jay” Miller, whose Cajun, swamp blues, and swamp pop recordings made quite an impact on popular culture. The song was later covered by seminal British rock band The Yarbirds, Texas Boogie boys ZZ Top, and Louisiana Bluesman Tab Benoit.
