Spanish Trappers
This 1941 photograph by Marion Post Wolcott was taken as part of a series for the US Farm Security Administration. Wolcott documented the lives and activities of the Isleños (Canary Island descendants) on southeastern Louisiana's Delacroix Island; in Wolcott's collection, the Isleños are characterized as "Spanish."
