Pallet on the Floor
Pallet on the Floor was recorded by Bunk Johnson and his New Orleans Band on 9 February, 1945 for WDSU Radio Station, at the St. Charles Hotel, in New Orleans. The band featured Mr. Johnson on trumpet, Jim Robinson on trombone, George Lewis on clarinet, Lawrence Marrero on banjo, Alcide “Slow Drag” Pavageau on string bass, and Abbie Williams on drums.
