#49 Retired
Ron Guidry’s uniform number, 49, was retired by the New York Yankees on Ron Guidry Day, August 23, 2003, and a bronze plaque honoring him was placed in Yankee Stadium’s famous Monument Park alongside those of Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, and other Yankee greats.
