Armoire attributed to Francois Seignouret, 1800-1825
Photographs of an armoire with lion-paw feet manufactured between 1800 and 1825 and attributed to 19th-century businessman Francois Seignouret. Seignouret became known as one of the greatest cabinetmakers in New Orleans, though there is no evidence that he ever made furniture with his own hands.
