Binn Captured by Arab Slave Traders
Hundreds of African Americans from Morgan City and Surrounding communities were cast as extras in Tarzan of the Apes. A replica African tribal village was constructed on the outskirts of town. In one scene, several men were yoked and herded as captives bound for Arab slace markets.
