Bois de Fleche Plantation

In 1857, Marie Adrien Persac descended the Mississippi River from Natchez, New Orleans, cataloging all of the plantations along the way. This watercolor, "Bois de Flèche Plantation" in St. Landry Parish was painted in 1861.
