Calladiums
In the 1970s, Ozols concluded that most universities had abandoned teaching the foundational principles of art. As a result, he established the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts, where students learn the fundamentals of drawing before progressing to painting. Ozols’s work has been awarded prizes from the National Academy of Design, the Museum of Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the New Orleans Museum of Art. His work appears internationally in museum, university, and government collections.
