Doug Kershaw Playing Fiddle
This photograph shows Doug Kershaw playing the fiddle at the 2009 Festivals Acadiens et Créoles. Kershaw began playing fiddle at the tender age of five and booked his first gig at a local bar, the Bucket of Blood, when he was only eight years old. At the time Doug was accompanied by his mother, Rita, who played guitar.
