FEMA Base Camp in Cameron, LA
In the aftermath of Hurricane Rita in Cameron Parish, FEMA worker Tim Flanagan adjusts a TV antenna he bought to bring a little "home" to this remote base camp, with no other intact lodging to be found for seventy miles. Flanagan had worked nonstop for more than four months when this photograph was taken in January 2006.
