Deborah Luster says she wants these photographs of Louisiana prisoners to contact, in the words of poet Jack Gilbert, "their hearts in their marvelous cases." This portrait, made in 1999 at Louisiana State Prison in Angola, is titled "LSP105", which is the subject's prison number.
