Prologue des Indes galantes : représenté devant leurs majestés à Versailles le samedi 16 février 1765
French composer Jean Philippe Rameau modeled the fourth-act tableau of his opera-ballet "Des Indes galantes" on the dances of four Mississippi Valley Indian chiefs who performed for King Louis VI in 1725.
