Rusty and Doug Kershaw

Rusty and Doug Kershaw were brothers as well as country and bluegrass musicians. The famous duo recorded for Hickory Records during the 1950s and had several country hits on the song charts. They became members of the Grand Ole Opry, regulars on Louisiana Hayride and the Wheeling Jamboree. The duo broke up in 1959 when both brothers enlisted in the United States Army, however; they would record together in the 1960s after the war.
