View from the Prairie
Elemore Morgan, Jr., is Louisiana's premier painter of the Southwest Louisiana prairie in the "en plein air" tradition. "View From the Prairie," made in 1988 with acrylic on Masonite, shows Morgan's signature style of a broad landscape under an expanse of sky. The work measures 94 x 141 inches.
