Countess Elisa Leon wife of Count Leon
Germantown was a utopian colony founded in 1835 in rural Webster Parish near the town of Minden. This photograph shows Elisa Müller ("Countess Leon") wife of the colony's leader Bernhard Müller, self-proclaimed "Count de Leon."
