President Roosevelt Hunting In Louisiana
President Teddy Roosevelt's hunt for black bear in northeastern Louisiana in 1907 was widely reported in the national media. The "New York Tribune" printed several photographs from the expedition, but none of the 200-pound black bear that Roosevelt bagged on the thirteenth day of the hunt.
