Twilight on the Louisiana Bayou
Swedish-born Knute Heldner was already nationally-prominent when he arrived in New Orleans in 1923. He enjoyed a successful social and professional period in the city. "Twilight on the Louisiana Bayou" is an example of Heldner's self-described "post-impressionist" style.
